The Parsons Nose are farmers, butcher and bakers, whose heritage goes back 200 years. From our farm in Monmouthshire we believe in slow ethical and sustainable farming, and champion a farm to fork ethos.
Welcome to The Parsons Nose. We are a family-run farm in the beautiful countryside of Monmouthshire, famed for our award winning delicious free range sausages, hot crust pies, and Hereford beef burgers and farm-made meals.
All our animals are free range and we practice sustainable and ethical farming. We strongly believe in slow farming, allowing our animals time to mature in stress-free environments.
Our herd of Large Black pigs is reared outdoors and is free to display natural behavior of rooting, mud bathing and generally shooting the breeze! With lop ears and a long deep body, the Large Black is one of this country’s oldest pig breeds. Its origins can be traced back to the Old English Hog of the 16th and 17th centuries.
Our herd of Hereford cattle is grass-fed and matures slowly to produce a delicious and tastier beef than commercial breeds.
We truly believe our meat tastes better than any supermarket-bought products because of the way we farm.
Meat that tastes like it used to!
We’d love you to try it for yourselves.
